Q: Do I have to link to this site to be an official supporter?
A: No and yes. No because you don't have to link to this site to have your button on the Official Supporters page (although we encourage you to link to us!), and yes because...well, how will people know what you stand for if you don't actually tell them? A bit confusing, if you ask me. :p ;)

Q: Why don't you have a listing for "bad" sites?
A: From experience, I've found that when sites have listings for "bad" sites that violate whatever cause they're for, more people tend to click on those links out of curiosity than they normally would have. That directs a lot of unnecessary attention and traffic to those sites, and that's not something we want to do. Best if offending sites simply fade into obscurity. :p

Q: What can I do when I find a site using bootleg caps and clips?
A: Good question. Before I answer that, let me say that No Pirates Here is designed to bring together the good sites, not root out the bad ones. In no way do we want to become the "vigilantes" of the web. Harassing, flaming and bad-mouthing sites even if they do things they shouldn't isn't right, and we do not support anyone who uses those methods to accomplish their own agendas. If you do see a site using bootleg items, you can email the owner and politely explain who you are and what you stand for, and ask if they can remove it. If that fails, the best thing to do is drop the matter. There's no reason to try and go to any authorities because they are not likely to really care about screen caps or very small clips.
However, if you do find a site that you really think is illegal, I suggest you contact the people at the MPAA, and go from there. Remember, they are unlikely to pay any attention to your request unless the site in question is offering A.) Bootleg movies for sale, or B.) Bootleg movies for download.
