Hey friends! I'm looking for some help writing Spareoom.net's Character Bios because I just can't seem to get them done myself...I know, I know, but there's just so many other things that keep me busy! I hate having that section so empty, though, which is why I'm now recruting all of YOU to help me!

I'm looking for writers who can deliver work promptly and is familiar with the Chronicles of Narnia. I would strongly suggest buying or borrowing Paul Ford's Companion to Narnia if you don't have it already since it contains many dates and condensed information which can be a bit hard to find in the actual Narnia books themselves.
You don't have to be a specialist in writing; you just need to have good grammar and spelling. The bios should be formed along the same lines as the ones already in Spareoom's collection, or the ones found here. Please include dates, ages and other specific information whenever possible, and don't make your bio too short or too long...be detailed, but not so much that it's like reading the actual book with only that character's parts included.
Also, these bios are based from the books, not the movies. If there is conflicting information, always go with the books, and don't add anything that is not specifically stated in them.

And what do you get for all this back-breaking work, you ask? Well, it's not much, I admit. You'll receive full credit for your work on Spareoom.net's prestegous Credit Page. Nifty, eh?
Also, while I'm not quite sure on this one, the chances are very strong for you receiving a customized peice of artwork (wallpaper, website header, anything within reason), done to your specifications and created especially for you! :D

Still interested? Here is a list of all the character bios I would like to include on the site, although I may add or remove a few names as I see fit. Struck-out names means that the bio has either been completed or has already been claimed by a writer and is in the process of being worked on.

If you're interested in helping out, please choose one or two free names from the list above (there is no limit to how many you can do, but I do ask that you finish at least two before taking on more) along with a short sample of your writing style (a few sentances describing why you like the characters you chose would be a great way to do this) and email me at this address:

If I like what I see (and why wouldn't I?) I will strike out the name(s) you chose and email you back letting you know. Only then should you start writing; obviously you can write whenever but it would insure that you don't waste your time; in the event that two people ask for the same names, I will award them on a first-come-first-serve basis.
You will have about two weeks to turn in your completed work before I remove your name off of the list of contributers and free up the characters you wanted for chosing; if you're unable to complete your bios in that amount of time, let me know while you are still writing so you won't lose your spot. Sending the work you have completed so far would be a definite help. :)
When you've emailed me your completed work, I'll check it for errors and then upload it. Disclaimer: I reserve full right to revise, edit, change or if needed reject any work given me. If I do have to edit your work, you will still receive credit for it.
