Mr. and Mrs. Beavers live in their dam in an area called (surprise) Beaversdam. Mr. Beaver is a friend of Tumnus, and is given Lucy's handkerchief when Tumnus realizes he will be arrested. He is charged with the task of finding Lucy and telling her what happened, if she ever returns. When the Pevensies arrive in Narnia, Mr. Beaver shows them the handkerchief and takes them back to his Dam, where they can talk without fearing discovery. After Edmund deserts them for the White Witch, Mr. Beaver guides the remaining Pevensies through Narnia until they arrive at Aslan's Camp. They are present at the Battle of Beruna and are later honored when the Pevensies are crowned kings and queens of Narnia. They live a long and happy life and are among the blessed at the Great Reunion.
